About Jack Lynch

Jack Lynch, a Block Island summer resident for over thirty years, is a writer, photographer, fisherman, lawyer.  He credits his Jesuit education for much of what he has done.  Jack’s first book is about Block Island fishing.  Fishing Up the Moon was published in 1996 and in 2010 he and his daughter Meg Lynch Doyle published Wetherbee’s Block Island, Paintings From the 1940’s.  Jack teaches intellectual property courses at law schools in Washington, DC, San Francisco, Dublin, Prague and Bilbao, Spain.  When not on Block Island or traveling, Jack and his wife Helen spend time in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia and Ross, California.
